Monday the 28th April 2008 saw the very first 'Yorkshire' www.yorkshirebusinessmarket.org Business Market held in Harrogate. This networking event organised by the Harrogate Chamber of Commerce is designed to promote business across the whole of Yorkshire and proves to be a vital activity for all upcoming and existing businesses in the region.

This follows the success of the 'Harrogate' Business Market of 2007 which lead to an expansion of the geographical area to include and attract businesses from the whole of the Yorkshire region. Pd-m International is proud to have been one of the 150+ businesses that exhibited at Pavillions of Harrogate and we feel it to have been a rousing success.

The official opening took place at the main entrance by Phil Willis, MP of Harrogate and Knaresborough at midday and it is estimated that approximately 2000 visitors passed through the doors of the Business Market between this time and seven in the evening. The exhibition space itself was fully booked across four rooms to include businesses from hotels, printers, training and skills providers, business support and coaching, chartered surveyors, design and marketing, corporate gift suppliers, recruitment agencies, property developers, health clubs, IT services, registered charities, solicitors, Universities and not to mention the outdoor laser combat, jukebox suppliers and BMW car dealership.

Pd-m has thoroughly enjoyed this event and would like to thank the many companies and individuals that came to see us at our stand. It has been an invaluable opportunity to meet potential new clients, catch up with business associates and promote the work that we do in the design industry.
